Every month Elite Vacation Homes features several homes. Our home owners are important to us and we want them to be assured their home gets the exposure it needs.

Information on Elite Vacation Homes

REGISTRATION AND SETUP of your vacation property on the www.eliteworldwidevacations.com can be added by you at no charge if you go to 'List your Property' and follow the prompts. If you would like us to add your property, there is a $99 setup fee. The other 2 sites cost $49 for each site, www.elitehomevacations.com or www.bcvacationhomes.com. To maintain your listing there is an annual fee of $49.00 per owner due January 1st of each year. There is no limit on the amount of homes per owner and there will be no extra fees. Elite now has Sara Bryden, a professional photographer, who can take all your photos for $150. Sara comes to us from the East Coast and has her Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts specializing in Photography. She has worked professionally for 3 years in Halifax.

The services for all packages are listed below:
- We screen all potential guests to ensure your home is enjoyed in a responsible way.
- We ensure that you get paid by the guest six weeks prior to check in with certified cheque, bank draft or money order. (credit cards if owners accepted)
- Provide key locations (2 sets), driving directions (Google maps), and contacts numbers.
- We provide a two page rental contract on behalf of the home owners for the guest.
- Meet and greet the guest at the property to take them on an orientation tour, provide them with keys. 24-hour emergency contact number and other instructions the guest may need to know regarding the property should be provided in the "home owner manual".
Every home that is registered with Elite Vacation Homes receives premium exposure on our websites, complete with indoor/outdoor photographs and professionally-designed copy describing the home, its location and amenities.

No results - no cost to you - If you don't get bookings, you don’t pay. It's a no risk offer. Efficiency - We are not a web directory! We manage and screen all phone calls or emails from prospective guests. We will contact you to make arrangements only when we have confirmed bookings for your property. The price is set by you. As the home owner you are never inconvenienced with having to negotiate with guests over prices, availability etc. This protects your privacy and saves you valuable time and money.
Office Hours - Our office hours are 8am to 5pm PST. 7 days per week with the exception of Christmas Day, New Years Day and certain holidays throughout the year.
No Limit On The Number Of Properties - The number of properties you list as an individual Owner or Property Manager is unlimited at no cost to you when you do your own set up on the Elite Worldwide Vacations website.
FREE Management Tools - Listing is made simple and easy. Our website has been designed with user friendly features that make listing with us straight forward and efficient.
Photos - Showcase up to 18 photos per property which gives the prospective guest a better idea of what they are to expect from their booking.

Is Elite a property management company?

No. Elite Vacation Homes is strictly a matching service, finding guests for your properties. We do not offer any property management services.

Why should I consider listing my home as a vacation rental?

More and more B.C. homeowners are taking advantage of this new "business" opportunity; supplementing their retirement savings, paying for a dream vacation or investing it in any of a number of worthwhile causes.

What kind of income are you talking about?

Depending upon the location, size and condition of your property, as well as the amenities it offers, it is not uncommon to realize up to $5,000 a week in gross rent.

What assistance does Elite Vacation Homes provide to the owner of a registered rental property?

If your property is located in Victoria, B.C., we will;

meet with you at your home to answer your questions, familiarize ourselves with the property and make arrangements for photographs to be taken.
prepare promotional copy for your web pages on the EliteVacation Group website.
receive all expressions of interest and book reservations for qualifying visitors.
we ensure that the guest pays you six weeks prior to check in with certified cheq / bank draft.
meet the renter at the property to take them on an orientation tour, provide them with keys, 24-hour emergency contact number and so on.
We charge the guest a cleaning fee. The amount is decided by the home owner and is paid six weeks prior to check in.
Since Elite Vacation Homes is not a Property Management Company, we work with Vancouver Island Concierge Service. They will give excellent service, do all the check ins, cleaning or anything you need to oversee your home while guests are staying and are available, on-call, 24hrs. Elite will not be a contact as you would deal with Vancouver Island Concierge Service directly. The home owner can hire whom ever they chose.

As a vacation rental owner, what are my responsibilities?

As a Elite Vacation Homes registered owner you essentially have three areas of responsibility:

Availability. Your home must be available for at least six weeks during the year and for a minimum of one week at a time. It is to your advantage if some or all of this time falls during the very popular May to October tourist season. We also ask that owners keep us current as to availability, and in particular to any changes that might conflict with reserved bookings.
Condition of home and grounds. To obtain the highest weekly rate, homes should be clean and in good physical and operating condition. As a service to new registrants we inspect each property with the owners and, when appropriate, suggest reasonable cosmetic and other improvements that we consider advisable to the success of the rental.
Contents and facilities. Homes must be fully furnished and come equipped with modern, functioning appliances such as fridge, range, washer/dryer and TV.

In addition, two sets of good quality linens are needed for each bed, plus two sets of matching towels for each guest.
