Located on the west coast of Florida on the island of Cedar Key. A 3 hour drive from the Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa airports. 1 hour southwest of Gainesville. The island is a haven for artists and writers. Surrounded by water and nature, ideal for fishing, boating and relaxing. Property is a 5 minute drive to the City Marina to launch your boat and a 10 minute walk downtown to the Historic District with restaurants, shops, golf cart rentals and boat tours.
On the island of Cedar Key and a haven for artists, writers, boating, fishing and bird watching. Join us for the Arts Festival every April and the Seafood Festival every October. Many art galleries with unique works by local artists. Cedar Key is noted for its home grown clams, in addition to crab and many types of seafood. Main mode of transportation around the island is walking, golf carts (available for rental) and biking. (provided at property) Quiet, laid back and still maintains an 'old Florida' atmosphere with no traffic lights and a speed limit of 20 mph. Come join us on our island paradise.
