San Jose del Cabos is located 10 miles south of the Los Cabos International Airport and 21 miles from Cabo San Lucas. The historic town and its beachfront resorts offer a variety of services and amenities, as well as specialty shops and boutiques.
While in Baja, explore the various Mexican towns and their colourful history. If you're looking for recreation, there is truly no better place than Baja.
Within a short walk, you can choose to golf, cycle, kayak, horseback ride or surf. Nearby, as you travel towards the busy town of Cabo San Lucas you will pass some of the world's most beautiful golf courses, from the famed Palmilla to the new Cabo del Sol. The snorkeling and swimming at the corridor beaches of Chileno and Santa Maria are wonderful. Dive shops and fishing charters abound in the town of Cabo. Or try a sail cruise for the day where you will be floated to all the best spots.
Surf shops can set you up with all of the gear you want to rent and then from Zipper's just down the beach you can launch yourself with the locals. Driving up the coast, the Pacific surf takes over and some great breaks are found.
