The main floor has a master bedroom with ensuite consisting of aero-massage soaker tub, shower, comfort height toilet, large vanity with one vessel sink. The "shades of the past" bedroom (nostalgia) has a double bed plus a single mattress. The "trinity" bedroom with its queen bed and white furniture creates a serene, relaxing bedroom. The Great room handles the activity from making bread in the kitchen, games & crafts at the table and TSN on the TV. The walk-out basement suite is great for teenagers. It has a kitchen, double sinks, frig/freeze, coffee maker, microwave, table & chairs plus two queen size sofa beds with TV/DVD/VHS;also 3 piece bathroom.
Our 1/2 acre property offers a playhouse with ladder, loft, blackboar &magnet board, kids table and chairs. There is a sandbox, 2 tricycles, 1 2-wheeler (small size) for the younger children. Also, a camp fire area for roasting marshmallows and a vegetable garden.
The Town of Lake Cowichan offers sandy swimming beach just minutes away, tubing down the Cowichan river, hiking trails, fishing and watching sunsets on the floating dock. A variety of cuisine (mexican, italian, irish, english and take-out;art studios, grocery stores, liquor store, ice cream store, hardware and a gas station.
In town (Duncan 25km) are the tourist attractions, boutique and native art shops, and the Wal-Mart Super store.
