The Beachwood is a luxury, beachfront home on Comox Bay just south of Courtenay in Royston. This Cape Cod style shingled home is situated on one acre of terraced grass lawn with views of Comox Harbour, the coastal mountains, and kayaks and sailboats. Abundant bird life such as trumpeter swans, herons, eagles, ducks and geese abound on the beach area. Find moonshells on long walks onto the sandbars when the tide is out. There is a fire pit on the sandy shore which is a great gathering spot for friends and family. You can also easily launch your canoe or kayak into the water from this low banked oceanfront lot. There is large lawn areas for bocce, badminton and horseshoes. Sip your morning coffee from shore side chairs nestled on the lawn or from one of the three decks providing ample space for a quiet perspective of the bay. .

The home's soft colours and furnishings create a wonderful space to unwind and relax. The gourmet kitchen with its gas stove, wet bar and new appliances provides inspiration for meals while providing breathtaking views looking out over the bay. Adjacent to the kitchen area are lovely French doors which open to the BBQ area, making the deck and kitchen easily accessible. The master bedroom features a spa inspired ensuite with a large jetted tub that provides restful soaks and picture perfect views of the ocean. French doors open to a private deck. Upstairs are two attic bedrooms with views of ocean and gardens, with the waterside bedroom having access to small sitting deck. A large dining room with river rock gas fireplace is a great space for the family to gather at the end of the day. The family room provides space for breakfast, watching movies on a big screen, listening to music, curling up by the fireplace and open to a sun filled deck through large glass doors overlooking the ocean.

The base rate per month for utilities is $350.00 which is included in monthly rental. Any utilities that add up to more than $350.00 for gas, phone, hydro and cable will be charged to the tenant. This will cover winter use of gas and hydro and long distance charges as well as movie rentals on PPV or VOD.

  • 20% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance).
  • A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit.
  • If you cancel less than 45 days prior, payments are refunded if re-rented.
