This solid cedar home is located in an old-growth forest on the shores of West Bay on Gambier Island, only 30 minutes by private boat or regular water taxi service from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver.
No Smoking
Pets: Well-behaved dogs with responsible owners are welcome with pre-arrangement.
Gambier Island is old world living……..very few cars, one little general store and a slow island pace which is perfectly suited to those of you wanting a tranquil, restful holiday experience.
You will need to bring all of your food and drink for your stay, but for those on extended stays you can take a scheduled water taxi to the mainland for supplies. Gambier Island does not have garbage collection so all residents and visitors are required to take their rubbish on departure.
Our property is situated on the water, with beautiful views over West Bay. There is a very steep and rocky incline down to our beach, so we ask that small children are supervised very closely.
On arrival at West Bay you will be met by our manager, who will take you the short drive (300 metres) up to our property, you will be shown how everything works then we leave you to enjoy the peace.
For those of you with your own boat, public moorage is available at West Bay public dock.
